Today, January 3, 2017, I made it possible for me to write and publish this blog post from a Windows PC. That’s a huge accomplishment for me. I’ve been a Macintosh user for 27 years. I know my way around. I know what tools I need and how to make them work together. Making Go, Hugo, Git, Visual Studio Code, and Google App Engine all work together was a challenge. A good and necessary one, in my opinion.
At the end of last year I pledged to myself that I would “Make Something Every Day”. Today, I made this computer a tool in my toolbox. It feels good.
